After searching the Bay Area for an acting class that builds both confidence and skill, I found First Take! Nancy is a giving teacher, mentor, and advocate whose insightful and holistic approach allows actors to bring who they truly and dynamically are to their acting. Nancy gets to know each actor and honestly guides them to the essential meaning of each scene they attempt.

For me, First Take’s classes and workshops have helped me grow immensely as an actor and as an individual. I finally feel connected to the scenes that I work on and better prepared for auditions, not to mention inspired to do quality work.
